B.D.13(1986)/11/21
This one is also more Jail. The
heavy - and dry, structual songs attracted us. I love the song called
"A secret flower garden",
"Aphrodite",
and "A cry of nightmare"
whereas most fans like "EL-DO-LA-DO"
and "Hell's dance song".
Why I love such minour songs? I think it's because of my circumstances
at the time. I was really---really driven to something we shouldn't
do, but finally I decided not to. It's just because I was listening
to those songs. I used to be a kind of person who think myself "I
am guilty. Otherones are right. We can't hate anybody even if they
look very agressive to me", and mindly tired with them. However,
listening so those songs, I've learnet "If somebody is attacking
me, I can hate them. I have the right to live my life".
At 2nd day of final mass they played "A
secret flower garden", I was so excited with
the song which they'd not been playing for years, singing
it without reading lyrics, loudly... On the next day, at
the announce, his excellency said "People
singing with our songs loudly(..me), and the people who are upset
with them and scolding them, let us enjoy it, it's last time".
B.D.12(1987)/11/21
The one after Jail left the band. Each time they skilled up, and
gave us something pretty cool. The new commer Sgt.
Luke Takamura III wrote "1999
Secret Object" which was horrendously cool
to me, I was facinated with him as well. Yes, Jail
was cool, but Luke, provided a different kind of coolness.
Overall, this one is the coolest one for me. People would say "Their
early days are not good, not skilled, nothing special" but
what supported SEIKIMA-II's popularity was, the concept of being
devils, and the world they make, and it was pretty cool and fucking
fast.
I like H.E.Demon's conceptual lyrics and still love this album.
I love "Earth Eater",
and "In a dream you can't break"
and "Big time changes".
B.D.11(1988)/12/09
OMG what happened to them? OMG...OMG....
With this album, lot's of original fan's left
them, and thousands of new fans came along !
I was very---- very----shocked with this one.
It sounds like something from L.A. !???
Hot ! major cord ! but distinctive
and original and shining...
I still wonder why devil's are singing a
song like "Winner!"
But this one is very, very popular song
among new believers.
Before it was released, The one thing I worried about was
... Mr. Dobashi from Rebecca
was producing this album.
Yes I understand Rebecca is from same label and Rebecca was No.1
selling rock band at the time.
I was regarding Rebecca as a weak, sentimental,
girl's rock.(The vocal is a woman, Nokko)
The members were saying, this album was the first album which they
could produce something original.
Now I understand that this album was on the
process of their grouth. Actually, the songs are pretty interesting
with shining key-board sounds, and there were
something catchy and had a taste of progressive rock..
This album soled very well coupled with his
excellency's radio show. ("All
night nippon", Mondays,25:00-27:00, Nippon
broadcastings)
I love "Humane society"
which provides excellency's world and "RATSBANE"
which is Jazzy 4 beat,
and "The Outer Mission"
which is written by Ace, really,
really, seriously, beautiful 7 beat
song. I haven't heard any
rock song which is more beautiful than this. What
this song means is "Shouting all over
the world, shouting for love and peace, but so what? nothing has
been changed. " and old Japanese lyrics goes like ;
"Old songs, changed nothing, God has been dead, just drift
without certain destination".
They say the most of believers came in from this album, remained
until they broke up in 1999.
B.D.10(1989)/09/21
That's a best album of them. each song
was re-recorded and they are much better than original. I really
appreciated Dr. Xenon changed
the bass lines which made all songs more powerful.
B.D.09(1990)/09/09
In Japanese, "You guy"
sounds like "Pestilent".
"You Guy Rock (Pestirent rock)"
goes like "Rocks are harmful,
today 2 people died, ah- it's cultural.
" and "The
person who decide is YOU! let's swim in the water of rock sound
!" I like this nastily ironic lyrics.
This one shows SEIKIMA-II's grouth
and aggresiveness. I like this one more than "The
outer mission".
They became a merodious, beautiful shining, skilled band and on
top of that, aggressive something.
The quality is pretty good and my friends all say "From
YOU GUY SEIKIMA-II became hard to copy".
That means, a person say "I was in a tribute band of SEIKIMA-II",
he or she is a very very good player.
Yes, I love this album. Especially "YOU
GUY Rock", "Like a Farao",
"Thunder Storm", and "Foreboading
of Storm"
The lyrics are all singing about sex, love, but all different kinds.
It's very very conceputual one in regards
of lyrics.
B.D.08(1991)/12/13
Single collection.
It has lot's of literary gem, which were coupling
songs of singles.
The last song, "GOODNIGHT MELODIES"
was just for this album and reminds me of days of their playing
at concerts, and how they are comitted as musicians. SCHWARZ
KASTELL involves Japanese, English, German, and
Chinese in one song, and MR.GOLDEN
LAND sing about difference between rockers over
countries.
We Japanese are brought up in a safe and peaceful
environment, so rockers are not desperately rockers. On the
other hand, rokers in some countries are desperate because rock
music itself are prohibited. My favourite is early BURNING
BLOOD which expresses beautiful, but aggresive devil's
world.
Also, complete version of "Stairway
to hell" is good.(This song is in English)
B.D.07(1992)/03/13
Recorded at mass at "Marquee Club"
in London. 95% of them were sang in English
in London. They played in Spain as well, in there they sang
in Spanish and spoke spanish pretty fruently. The video shows
how well their performance is, and how well
they were welcomed by both English and Spanish people.
B.D.07(1992)/10/21
That's something scary. Yes, this
is SEIKIMA-II and they play pretty
pretty--- cool. I love the instrumental of Raiden's
instrumental song, "Green rain",
and love all songs! However, when I listen to this album, over and
over again, becomes so scary so it let me stop listening... OMG
However, if you are not Japanese speaker,
there wouldn't be any problem!
I love "Bondage of Curse"
which shows good combination of twin guitar, "An
ogre" which sings "I
remember... I don't forget, I hate you" What
is good is it doesn't say "You should remember!" but say
"I remember" that strengthen the feeling of hatred. And
I love FRIGHTFUL RESTAURANT.
Yes, that's exciting song and it's been played many many times.
Also, in "Spot of slaughter!"
"Dash to hell !"
H.E.Demon sings pretty----------high
note! His shout goes so high and earsplitting,
and we go to heavenn! nono, go to hell!
B.D.05(1994)/07/01
This was released after a scandal of excellency
happened. When I was watching a TV show normally,
I saw his face on it all day! What a nice time. I could watch him
all day. ( I was a university student, so I had prenty time
to watch him. Japanese students have lots of time for themselves)
I wasn't aware of what happenes next, because I wasn't feeling anything
about this "scandal". I thought it
was just media who wanted people to be disappointed with him, and
I knew somebody wanted to drag him down and didn't want to let him
on TV shows. Just before this he'd been on Fuji Film's commercial
and it was pretty popular. However, after this the contract with
Fuji film had been declined, and he stopped appearing in their commercials.
Meanwhile, this album was released, they recorded
this one at the studio in London which is famous for Beatles
were recording at.
This album was something ...mmmm....acoustic.
What happened to them.....again.
But somehow, I was enjoyning this album because it has also, good
songs and enjoyes H.E. Demon's
beautiful singing a lot. Yes his voice sounds pretty clear and powerful,
songs are brilliant. Apart from "Gun's
'n' butter" and "Fighting
japanese(Struggling Japanese)", they are not hard rock,
they are something "unprugged".
I love "GUNS'N'BUTTER"
for its aggresive-speedy guitar riffs, and "Fighting
Japanese" for the sma reason. "Fighting
Japanese" 's lyrics is quite easy
to understand for English-speaking people, which goes like;
"Samurai, Kamikaze, Harakiri, Karate,
Zero fighter, Sukiyaki........" and on the main chorus
it goes like "Fighting going around the world, with short legs,
fighting Japanese!". That's quite funny. The Japanese title
is "Tatakau Nihonjin" you will see it on youtube...
I love "TEENAGE DREAM"
and "THE REQUIEM" for beautiful
tune, and also "JUST LET ME GO"
for excellency's beautiful singing.
Later, I heard this one was
not popular among believers and fans. But you know,
for me, after "The outer mission" every single album is
different from what I expected and I enjoyed all songs and albums.
B.D.03(1996)/09/21
I remember in between "PONK!"
and this one, there was a notice from SONY
about there would be a new album from SONY,
in 1995. But it didn't happen. Instead,
they transfered to BMG.
On the other hand, I graduated from university and moved to Tokyo,
and working 9 to 21, Couldn't catch the notice of this album's release.
That's shame, I guess a lot of believers have same experience as
me...
When I found this album at a CD shop,
I bought it and went back home soon and listened to it and.... called
my friend in my home town!
My friend:"Oh, haven't heard from you for long, what happened?"
Me "Yeah. I bought SEIKIMA-II's CD,
and found it pretty good !!!!!!!"
I talked about "how this album is good"
for an hour and put the phone down.
Yes, that was what I had been expecting,
you know. And, there were my favourite member, H.S.Damian's
songs!
Later, I heard the agency decided to call original
believers and fans with this album back, they called H.S.Damian
and made it quite heavy sound like how they were when they debuted.
Yes, that was my favourite sound!
They revealed on a book that the members didn't like this album
cause they could not control the sound much and this album doesn't
have much individuality, and because they were so used to
high quality studio which SONY had been providing, this recording
was hard for them. But somehow, they always created the best sound
they could do, there were lot's of believer's favourite songs, such
as "Great Devotion". I
love "Prince of hell dies twice"
and "Frozen city". "Frozen
city" goes like in English; "We
can't forgive, but who is guilty? Too sad to die, in a frozen city".
In Japan, people are feeling "I can't forgive it!" but
most of the time we know there is nobody to accuse for it. Just
mind remains... So I love this song a lot.
B.D.02(1997)/07/02
This one will be one of most popular albums
among believers and fans.
Yes the members came back on control and demonstrated
their creativity again, but what they
wanted to do was not what I wanted to listen to. I knew that....
On this album H.E.Demon changed his style
of lyrics. His lyrics used to be ironic, delivering messages to
the people. He used to write about politics,
sex, and all other things in an indirect way. So the songs
were not easy to understand, but you know, I liked it and I think
other many believers liked his lyrics because of that. But some
people thought his lyrics are not easy to understand, means not
poppy.
Anyway, I like all the songs in there. they
are not heavy, but pretty original, cool, goegeous songs.
Only thing I didn't like was H.E.Demon's lyrics
which is no much ironic on this.
"DEPARTURE TIME"'s introduction
is pretty cool, and we all love this song. I love "CRIMSON
RED", "DANGEROUS VOYAGE",
and "SAVE YOUR SOUL". "MOON
AT MID DAY" goes like "Moon
at mid day is watching you, any time, even if you are crying, even
if the moon is hiding behind the sun. (Moon) want to protect you,
want to give you". It just like describing SEIKIMA-II
is behind the main stream now, but they want to protect believers
and fans. Yes I love this song. Also, "BRAND
NEW SONG" has similar concept of lyrics, and it's popular
among us.
B.D.01(1998)/07/23
This one was produced by Joe Rinoie
, one of the most selling producer in Japan.
"News" was not heavy, but
it was still a hard rock album, moreover, this
one is not hard rock.. It's a kind of....poppy easy songs.
I don't know why, I still loved this album because they write quite
good songs and their quality of play didn't dissapoint me. It
was something poppy, but was still SEIKIMA-II.
"Still smiling" is an encouraging,
ballade song, and "Life game"
as well. "I wanna quit adult"
is nice funny song. Only thing I didn't like
was H.E.Demon's lyrics which is no much ironic on this....again...
Among believers and fans, "Cherry bloosoms
are gone, cherry bloosoms are bloomed" and "Drops
of sky" are popular. I also love "STILL
ALIVE" which goes like "We,
all fight, feeling loneliness, if we understood each other's pains,
we could be released. If we can't delete any betrayers, cries, and
lies, I want to have strongness to cover everything. We're proud
we're still alive". This lyrics was written by SGT.
Luke. ,I cried when I first listened to this song. It just
like singing about themselves. They've gone
through hardships after the scandal, transferring to the other record
company, and they came back to the scene, and wrote this song. So
for me this lyrics is precious to me.
D.C.01(1999)/05/21
This is one of two complation albums released in 1999.
They were the songs we already knew apart from "People not
been defeated ", but all of old songs were improved in better
condition and with better skills. I think they are much improved
: "1999 SECRET OBJECT",
"Prince of hell", "A
mansion of wax dolls", "Fire
after fire", "EL.DORADO".
I will recommend this album to a person
who is interested in SEIKIMA-II because all their works were condensed
in these two compilations, especially this one.
On the preface of the last song "EL.DOLADO",
His excellency says "Happines don't walk
down to you, so we walk down to it. However, when you are walking
towards for happines, we, devils, throw calamities towards you.
Now then, go fast, go fast, and reach it before it vanishes !".
"Happines don't walk down to you, so we
walk down to it" is a famous phrase from a Japanese
folk-song-based popular song, "365
steps' march (sang by Kiyoko
Suizenji)".
D.C.01(1999)/07/01
This is one of two complation albums released in 1999.
I like this one as well and I can't decide
which is good and which is bad. Only thing I can say is there
are many beautiful ballad songs which doesn't match their
looks, and not even like hard-rock band's ballad songs. There is
also my NO.1 favourite song "THE END
OF THE CENTURY" re-recorded with the best condition.
The popular Jail's song "Addam's
apple" is also good.
"In the cause of justice"
lyrics sings about the people fight against
something, in the cause of justice, but as a result they are slaughtering
many, many people.
"BAD AGAIN" was the best
sold song of SEIKIMA-II, which
goes like "Bad again, break the chain,
fight to change the tide of foolish apathy, Bad again against the
grain live to glorify It's time to be a man of the wild""Overflowing
passion, bright as a flame, reaching out for any man to be..."
The ballad songs are; "In the cause
of justice", "The best
kiss in the world", "STAINLESS
NIGHT", "White miracle","THE
OUTER MISSION", "BAD AGAIN".
D.C.01(1999)/10/21
This was the last album released before
they broke up.
How's it like? I woud describe just this
is the best one of SEIKIMA-II as devils.
Yes, I like "News" and it's originality, but that is not
devil's songs.
Yes, they went back to heavy metal. And it's
not too scary like "Flightful restaurant".It's just cool,
heavy, fast, witty, rock songs.Yes, H.E. also came back with full
og ironic lyrics.
Yes, I like "News" and it's originality, but that
is not devil's songs written by active menbers at the time.
"HEAVY METAL IS DEAD" is
cool, ironic, and 80's heavy metal sound.
I like this one pretty much and also, the people who didn't like
old SEIKIMA-II sound, like this
song as well. I don't know why, but you know, for
us, it doesn't matter the if the song is fasionable or not, if it's
cool.
And it's only 80's, not like 50's or 60's, 80's is when we were
teenagers. This song has a taste of that time. The lyrics goes like
"Kill, kill, kill them all, if they are
your obstacle, set a fire, towns, and the whole country, the war
is murderor. Even N.H.K is avoiding such words and history"(N.H.K
is the national broadcasting company in Japan) and "You
might have been slaughtered! "
"GLORIA GLORIA"
and "Donah donah of shuddar"
are quite hot Luke's song, you
know he wrote "Winner" and his sound is ....People like
"GLORIA GLORIA" a lot.
But I like more speedy song, "Donah
donah of shuddar". The guitar riffs are quite interesting
in this song.
Ace's songs, "Here to eternity",
"A concerto of death","Century
of raising arms", are beautiful and heavy, Ace world.
"Century of raising arms"
goes like "Clenching a fist, (we were)
raising arms, and the lonleness and emptiness were blew away".
Yes this osng reminds us of raising arms at SEIKIMA-II's black masses.
ROCK'N RENAISSACE is sang in English.
It goes like "We are the best, all my
friends, what king is next will soon face "the end", The
soul is inside out in this time, only creature of the devil rock
your renaissance". Oh,
yes, they are the best, no other bands could achieve this height.
REVOLUTION HAS COME is also, a cool
song! I just wonder if it was the last single. (The last single
was "20 Century's crazy lyrics song"
which is heavy metal rap song.) It goes like "It's
not God, It's not Devil, a human's mind cried, Hey! revolution has
come! Deeply and quietly, hey! your passion is bombed! In the wind,
Clang the bell!!"
I also love "THIS WORLD IS HELL"
which is deep, heavy song, but not many people like this. So
I made a page to describe how this song is good in Japanese
fansite, "yourpassion( is bombed!)" The title of the page
is "The page which supports "THIS
WORLD IS HELL" even if I'm alone"
I introduced so many of them in this album. Yes, this album is full
of our favourite songs, every single song is pretty cool
and precious.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After 1999
D.C.02(2000)/03/08
This is a record of the final black mass.
Along with this, there are 2 types of videos (amd DVDs) of this
final mass. The one is a short version in 2 video tapes.
Another one is called "complete" and 8 video tapes,
and nothing was cut from this 3nights.
29/Dec "Theatrical day"
30/Dec "Satan all stars day"
31/Dec "Dooms day"
They did different types of mass thoughout 3 nights. The first day
is "Theatrical day", the second is "Satan all stars
day", the last day was "Dooms day".
What I felt about this CD was ... good chorus,
music, but H.E.Demon! As the day goes, his voice becomes hoarse,
but he still kept the powerful vocal work.
I enjoyed the song "ARCADIA"
a lot, with systematic beautiful chorus of
H.E.Demon, Luke, and Ace.
Was I there?! Yes, I was there! For whole 3 days ! I was singing
along with "Secret flower garden"
on the second day, and on the third day, I was at 9th row on the
left hand side, you might can see me on the
complete video.
That was the best(as a believer, I must
say the worst) black mass I've ever seen. They left final
messagesa to us, I was crying when they were saying those farewell
messages. When Ace said "Today
is not a day of parting." I started weeping, and crying. They
finally had gone in mist, and left us, with a black screen with
white writing, "See you in hell"
at 12:00 o'clock.
D.C.02(2000)/11/22
Only "G.G.G" (with believers'
chorus at mass), "Time stalker",
and "Devil's blues" are
new for me. They say other songs were type beta, of type gamma,
but I can't recognise difference between original version and beta
version or gamma version. "G.G.G"
is studio recorded but they put different believer's chorus from
different mass venues.
"Devil's blues" was originally
sang by C.P.Ace, but in this
version, H.E.Demon is singing
this song.
D.C.05(2003)/06/25
Sorry I don't have this one because It was released after I came
over England.
D.C.07(2005)/07/06
Sorry I don't have this one because It was released after I came
over England.
D.C.08(2006)/03/29
This is a record of the mass during their reunion
in 2006.
This is recorded at all standing
venues. I feel this one and the other one, THE
TERRIBLE REBIRTH FESTIVAL is good, mature playing
with a relaxed mood, and H.E.Demon's voice don't become hoarse,
they, especially supporting key-boardist, Mr.
Kaijin Matsuzaki changed his play. And, Jail is back to SEIKIMA-II
for this reunion! That's fabulous! Only thing I didn't like was
the volume of music and talking is different,
It seems they didn't ajust any of it, so when they are talking,
I have to volume up the stereo, and when they start playiong, I
have to volume down in hurry otherwise it's gonna be horrendously
loud.
D.C.08(2006)/05/24
This is a record of the mass during their reunion
in 2006.
Same as ALL STANDING EXECUTION:
THE LIVE BLACK MASS D.C.7, good quality, and there
are lot's of my favourite songs! I thing "Rebirth festival"
is more for old believers, fans, like me.
I don't know how the set list was made, but Jail's
presense might be one of the reason. My favourite song "Aphrodite",
was played ... I haven't seen they are playing this song so so so
so many years!!! This song goes like "You
should know by now that love is pored is lie. Raise up your fist
of anger. What's going on!? Oh please aphrodite, why don't you smile
for me? Because aphrodite is capricious."
