In other words, what is your job?

(H.E.Demon)
I am a Lord of darkness. We came from, we’ve come from another dimension.

(Larry)
Another dimension!? So, you mean, you are not a human kind disguising like that?

(H.E.Demon)
This is me. this is real my style.

(Larry)
Do you normally return to a normal style? In other words, to become like the people here (the Audience)?

( H.E.Demon)
Oh, sometimes.

(Larry)

Because, I'm always going around the world in a costume, clothing, imitated style, like mankind.

(Larry)
So you mean, say, when you get on an airplane you wear a normal clothes?

(H.E.Demon)
Yeah.

So why don't you wear a normal costume!? I thought You said you were a load of darkness. You don’t have to flatter anybody I guess?

(H.E.Demon)
Oh, I'ts good question.
Well, our mission is very underground, so our mission is secret … from searching, so, I must put a costume.

(Larry)
Buy the way, how many people are wearing like yours?

(H.E. Demon)
Ours?

You told me “Our mission” to me !? So, I thought there must be some other people wearing like you??

(H.E. Demon)
Yes.

(Larry)

Well about…a hundred thousand years ago.

(Larry)
A hundred thousand !!!??? How was the world like?

(H.E. Demon)
The world was…like… frozen world.

Were you cold?

Very cold.

(Laugh) Oh, it looks like a standing hair, but it has… like … antenna.

Well, you mean you can contact with people? I guess you are hearing what they are talking about in the world of darkness?

(H.E. Demon)
Yeah.

(Larry)
What is that you are wearing on your arm?

(H.E. Demon)
These? (Pointing at a part of his costume, with lot’s of frogs on his shoulder)

(Larry)
Yes, these! (Looks like “Why you are copying my question!”)

(H.E. Demon)
These are …only the costume.

(Larry)

(H.E. Demon)
Yeah, sure.

(Larry)
(Touch those…) Ummm, well, ( ask for shaking hands, and H.E. stretched out his hand, and they shook hands), oh, are you wearing black manicure?

(H.E. Demon)
Oh, yeah. (Looks like he realised it now!!!)

(Larry)
Weren’t you aware of that when you woke up and had a cup of coffee?

(H.E. Demon)
(Laughs)Sometimes it's black, sometimes it's red, sometimes it's… brown…

(Larry)
I see. (Looks at a memo in his hand) so, are you a king of pops?

(H.E. Demon)
Yeah, exactly. (He bluffs and makes audience laugh)

(Larry)
OK. (Looks at a memo in his hand) so you are popular among young people who are not understanding your lyrics? I heard you are playing other Japanese pop stars and doing concerts, but nobody understands the deep message of your songs? Could you just sing a phrase of a song?

(H.E. Demon)
Oh,we have a song like this it's sing in English.
(Sings) Hundreds billion light years away,I heard the screams of agony.Appearing to my natural instint,I know they're callin me….[This song is called “Beasts’ graves”]
(Keeps singing)And there’s …( stop singing) No, no…(looks like he can’t recall it)

(Larry)
Did it sell well !??? Did this song of agony sell well???

(H.E. Demon)
(Laughs a bit) Yeah.

(Larry)
Isn’t that a song a coal porter wrote… By the way, is “Demon” the right pronunciation?

(H.E. Demon)
Yes but, Japanese can't pronounce "Demon".

(Larry)
So it becomes like “Daimon”?

(H.E. Demon)
Yes, they say “Daimon”

(Larry)
So, you are “Demon” as a demon, a devil??

(H.E. Demon)
Yeah. I'm a demon, and my name is "Demon" too.

(Larry)
So you are popular among teenagers, but you don’t think their parents have to worry about you? Or, do they have to?

(H.E. Demon)
….Pardon?

(Larry)
Well, we are from different dimensions…

(H.E. Demon)
Yeah….(He grimaces and agrees with him)

By the way, going abroad, have you seen any person who is stranger than you?

(H.E. Demon)
Never. (Looks quite confident)

So could you tell me, how long you take going back to normal style? For instance, to put the hair down?

(H.E. Demon)
Not putting the hair down, this is my correct style.

(Larry)
I know that!!! In other words, to become like my style?

(H.E. Demon)
Umm… about 30 minutes. (Sounds like both “30” and “3”.. I go for “30”)

(Larry)
3 minutes! (He heard it was 3 minutes!)
How you do your hair done?

(H.E. Demon)
Well, (he starts posing like praying with his hands…and bows his head…

(Larry)
Do you use a machine?

(H.E. Demon)
Not a machine, only mind control.

(Larry)
Ah….mind control! (Looks quite impressed)
Do you have any plan coming over to US?

(H.E. Demon)
No, we have no plan, but I'd been living in United States.

(Larry)
I’d like to sign up a contract with you?

(H.E. Demon)
Great.

(Larry)
I would like you to go around an American tour, and make money!

(H.E. Demon)

They are given a big hand by the audience. Larry bows his head, H.E.Demon responds and straightens up and throws his head back.

It was after they played overseas(London, Spain) and they mentioned about they might be releasing CDs in America. (Actually they were offered a contract at the time, before this interview , but they couldn’t release a CD because the record company went bankrupt.)
So watching this program, I felt, “Oh, somebody might offer a contract, but I might can’t see them many times!”
Then there were comments from the presenters, one of them said he asked Larry” You’ve interviewed Jean Simons before, so you might not be surprised so much”, but Larry said ”No, but he’s a bit strange!”
