SEIKIMA-II as a kind of strange, odd, funny band. YES, THEY ARE FUNNY!!! They are all demons, and all over a hundread thousand years old. Some people might think, "Are you ok? In Western countries we don't believe such superstition." WHAT a f xxxxx k... That's you. You are f xxxxxxx king non-sense. You know, we knew the lie, but we enjoyed the lie. We believed them because we wanted to believe them, and enjoyed believing in them. That's our rule. I loved them and our rule was a precious thing which our parents couldn't breach. However, the most thing we loved with was their music, lyrics, and their kindness to their believers. We loved them because THEY ARE FxxKING AMAZING MUSISIANS. They are also famous for they are fxxxxking intelligent as this band was formed in a music circle in Waseda university, which is one of the top unis in Japan. MEMBERS  H.E.
Demon Kogure / Vocals, horahukiA loud, beautiful voice and smart thinking. I think he's got a leader-ship and carried out this SEIKIMA-II project. He is talented in lot's of different areas such as: Actor, TV presentetor, comedian, and Japanese dancer, and director of films. He appeared in TV commercial series for Fuji film's disposable camera and acquired a prize as "Good feeling commercial entertainer". He is also wel acquainted with Sumo wrestling, writing for a Sumo magazine, and recently, occasionally appearing on-the-spot broadcasting of Sumo. He is the most famous, and funny member, but the most passionate and considerate devil. We, believers liked him because he was so looking after us, and let us think about what's happening in the world, how to live in the world, how to ignore newspapers, and always entertained us with wit and irony. Now he is singing as a solo singer, in 2007/2008 he released a cover album called "Girl's rock" and showing ability to sing high notes, and those songs were arranged by Anders Rydholm (from Code), played in Japan with him(bass) and Ola af Trampe(guitar). ACE Shimizu / Guitar, ChorusMerodious, beautiful songs, full of cooless He is a thoroughbred devil. I heard his parents are both opera singers on a TV show. He is writing for a guitar magazine and he knows music theory very well. Our favourite song "STAINLESS NIGHT" was written by him. He is pretty cool all the time, but he looks sometimes quite funny, on the reunion of Seikima-II, he played lot's of different types of music such as rock-nroll, Japanese folk song, with his guitar using Seikima-II's most cruel lyrics, and brought laughter to us. Now he's formed a band named "Face to Ace" with a keyboardist. His tune strays standard music codes and his voice is pretty clear. He is the oldest one among the latest members, I felt he was pretty adult and looking after the band from background...  Dr.XENON
Ishikawa / BassPowerful play, doesn't move like mountain I reckon he is the most quiet devil in Seikima-II. However, his bass is pretty cool. After 1st basist (Zod Hosijima) he changed a lot of base lines and I was amazed with how he was skilled as a basist. He showed his powerful bass play at black mass and we enjoyed his play very much. He doesn't move live others but we knew he was there and wihtout him, we could not enjoy them. He formed a band called "RX" with H.H. Raiden, played a nice, jazzy - rocky - speedy something. We all loved RX's music and TV shows often use their instrumental songs.  Sgt.
GS LUKE Takamura III / Guitar, chorusFast guitar play, lovable man I remember him as a new member.. After they became famous, Jail, the guitarlist, left the band. So he came in soon after that. First he looked like "He's still like a human kind" but as the time past, he changed his hair style and became more like 70's unisexed(!?) rockers. His guitar play was pretty fast, I don't think anybody in Japan can play his part of guitar play... He also appeared on H.E. Demon' s radio show every week, so many people recognize him as His excellency's best talking partner... He formed a band called "CANTA" with H.H. RAIDEN and Masaki, playing guitar and singing. This band will be the most "rock" band among other member's current bands.  H.H.
RAIDEN Yuzawa / DrumsPowerful drums, songs with tension He is the most powerful drummer I've ever heard in Japan. (There might be far more better ones in early days, but as long as I heard, he is the most powerful one) He is not just fast, poweful, but he has a sense and wit. As the youngest among the latest members, he has a lovable charactor. I feel he is good at adopting himself into the environment. He formed a band called "RX" with Dr. Xenon, and a band called "CANTA" with sgt. Luke Takamura III. He was also famous for amount of his meals. Once he said "I eat 3 times more than normal people". I love his songs such as "ARCADIA" which originally was SEIKIMA-II song, and they adopted on RX album with John Wetton(From Asia, King Crimson)'s vocal. His song has a kind of tension. back to home |
